Willow's Senior Portraits - Class of 2019
I’ve known Willow her entire life. Willow’s Aunt Brandi started dating my brother Luke before she was even born. When Brandi and Luke got married, Willow and I were both a part of their bridal party (she was a flower girl and I was a bridesmaid). Not only are we family through marriage, we’re also a part of the same alumni family! In the Spring of 2019, Willow will be graduating from Lincoln-Way East High School, which is where I graduated from… and according to our school anthem, “our blood runs black and blue.” (Go Griffins!)
I was honored when Willow asked me to take her senior portraits! Below are some of the highlights from our session in downtown Frankfort, along with a little Q&A about senior year and her plans for college.
I know this is tough, but if you had to pick one, what would be your favorite high school experience (so far)?
My favorite high school experience in general would have to be high school football games because everyone is so supportive and it is so much fun!
Where are you hoping to go to college next year and what are you thinking about studying?
I hope to attend Grand Valley State University next fall and I am going to study to get my BSN in nursing.
What are you most looking forward to about Senior Year?
The thing I am most excited about for senior year is probably my human anatomy physiology medical class. This is a very competitive class where you need to go through an interview process and get accepted. In this class you go to a near by hospital twice a week and you get to shadow 8 different jobs in the hospital, and also view an open heart surgery.
What song right now is pumping you up going into your last year of High School?
“Like I Do” by David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Brooks as well as “Speechless” by Dan+Shay. Both are getting me through all my anatomy studies already!
