Gatsby's Birthday Cookies

Gatsby turned 3 years old on Wednesday. This was a big deal in our household, because it means he’s 21 in human years, and officially an adult pup (even though we’ve been taking him to the bar since the week we brought him home).

Last year, for Gatsby’s 2nd birthday, I made him a cake - which he loved! I wanted to do something different this year, but equally as special. I searched tons of Pinterest recipes for homemade dog treats, and ended up combining a bunch of different ideas for a recipe of my own.

Gatsby’s Birthday Cookies

  • greek yogurt - ½ cup

  • water - ½ cup

  • coconut flour - 1 cup

  • rolled oats - ½ cup

  • chunky peanut butter - ½ cup

  • egg - 1

  • honey - 1 tbsp

  • mashed banana

  1. Mix everything together.

  2. Roll dough out on the counter and cut with cookie cutters (don’t be alarmed if the cookies seem dry or start falling apart, this is normal).

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

These were so simple to make, and Gatsby really likes them. ((sigh)) They grow up so fast, don't they?
