Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Over Labor Day weekend I went camping with my husband, my brother Jerry, and my sister-in-law Dina. We spent 3 nights at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We camped at Twelve Mile Beach, hiked 9+ miles along 200’ cliffs, kayaked at the base, and swam (bathed) in Lake Superior. We were completely off the grid - a minimum 30 minute drive to get cell phone service. We had amazing weather the whole weekend. With the unseasonably high temperatures and the beautiful blue water, it really felt like we were in paradise. I had never been to the U.P. before, and truly wasn’t prepared for how breathtaking the views would be.
It was an adventure I’ll never forget. Watch the video, and see for yourself!
